Changes at Playing With Food
Hello friends! Some exciting news!
Next month is Playing With Food’s third birthday! When I started this newsletter, I had no idea what it would be like, but I surely didn’t expect: giant pancakes, tiramisu ice cream sandwiches, and my wedding cake. I am overwhelmed with gratitude – for you, for being here, and for the absolutely wonderful community we’ve built. Undoubtedly, the best part of my day/week/month is when I get an email notification that you enjoyed the read, had fun challenging yourself in the kitchen, or even had friends ask for the recipe.
As this publication turns three, I’ve been doing some thinking about how to expand and amplify the offerings here to make sure you get the most out of this newsletter. Of course you will still receive four newsletters a month, while I add new offerings tailored to what you have most enjoyed over the years.
For example, all subscribers will now begin receiving one foundational recipe per month (usually in the ‘Baking Blocks’ format, which will be launching next month), the ‘Chef’s Kisses’ newsletter, as well as many many more ideas for how to unwind and get creative in the kitchen in my new ‘In Season’ or ‘Bake + Create’ newsletters (launching soon). Paying subscribers will receive one in-depth recipe each month (eg, a ‘Bakeover’), as well as additional recipe(s) which will be behind the paywall in the ‘Bake + Create’ newsletter. Paying subscribers can also join the comments section and get access to the full archives.
If you are a free subscriber and have a recipe you’ve been eyeing and it’s behind a paywall, you can get a free month of Playing With Food here.
Thank you so much for being a subscriber and part of this community. I am so excited to kick off this third year with you.
